Ready To See More ("the Tool") provides general educational information about cataract surgery and lens options. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
2. Not medical advice; no doctor–patient relationship
Using the Tool does not create a doctor–patient relationship between you and the Tool, its developers, or any affiliated party. Always seek the advice of your surgeon or another qualified health provider with any questions about your eyes, your cataracts, or a medical condition.
3. Results are for discussion only
Any lens options or information the Tool generates are possibilities to discuss with your surgeon. They are not a recommendation, a diagnosis, or a final plan. Some options may not be appropriate for you depending on your eye measurements or conditions (for example glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye, or an irregular cornea). Your final lens choice should be made with your surgeon based on your exam, test results, goals, and medical needs.
4. No warranty of accuracy
The Tool is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. The developers are not liable for decisions made based on information from the Tool.
5. Emergencies
The Tool is not for emergencies. If you have sudden vision loss, eye pain, or another medical emergency, call your doctor or your local emergency number immediately.
6. Privacy
Information you enter is used to generate and share your results as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not enter information you do not wish to share.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
